Each month, we celebrate one of the incredible team members who make Bit by Bit not just a great place to work, but a true community. This month, we’re thrilled to shine the spotlight on Peter Korn, a Senior Account Executive whose dedication, creativity, and passion have shaped the firm for over three decades.
Professional Journey
Peter’s career began behind the bar, literally. After college, he worked in the restaurant industry as a bartender before landing his first office job at Art Expo, where he served as an Administrative Assistant and later as Operations Coordinator. There, he helped organize two major art fairs each year, one in New York and one in Los Angeles, gaining valuable experience in logistics, client relations, and event management.
After five years, Peter transitioned fully into the art world as a Sales Executive at Ambassador Gallery in SoHo, selling paintings, limited edition prints, and sculptures. He even helped coordinate exhibits featuring well-known artists like Jerry Garcia, Tony Curtis, and Billy Dee Williams.
In 1994, Peter joined Bit by Bit, and 30 years later, he’s still here, contributing daily to the company’s success, culture, and client relationships.
Role at Bit by Bit
As a Senior Account Executive, Peter focuses on the firm’s Fax business, managing software sales, service renewals, and client relationships. He also assists the Hosted Managed Fax Services department and plays a key role in business development.
Many of his clients are large enterprise organizations that rely on fax as a mission-critical application. Beyond fax, Peter works with clients to identify opportunities for added value through security, business automation, business continuity, and managed IT services.
His approach is consultative and personal, transforming client relationships into trusted partnerships built over years of collaboration and care.
What He Loves About His Role
For Peter, the best part of his job is the people. He’s proud to work alongside colleagues and friends he’s known for decades, some going back 40+ years to college days. He also values the long-term relationships he’s built with clients, many of whom have become partners and friends through years of shared growth and success.
“I enjoy working closely with customers, evolving from their sales rep to a trusted advisor.”
