If not. You are at risk. Seriously. At cybersecurity risk.

Well, you're not alone. According to a recent Tech News World post, Kaspersky released survey results revealing that almost one quarter (22 percent) of PCs still run the end-of-life OS Microsoft Windows 7, which stopped receiving mainstream support in January 2020.

If you're one of the medium, SMB or very SMBs that haven't heeded the warnings, or just weren't sure how to do it, you can still act now.  Rise above the fray and take care of your IT OS ASAP.

You can review our 2020 blog about the upgrade to get the details, understand the threats, and learn how to take action to protect your Windows OS.  It still stands true today, but is even more urgent.

Window 7 End of Life Notifications:  Microsoft Will Send Full Screen Pop Ups

The time is now!

Still running Windows 7?  Well, your first New Year’s resolution should be to UPGRADE to Windows 10.

Why?

As of January 14, 2020 Microsoft will discontinue Windows 7 support. And, don’t be surprised when you see a Microsoft pop-up notification to remind you about it.  Read more about these pop-ups at The Verge.

What does this mean for you?

It’s pretty simple. Microsoft will no longer provide technical assistance and software updates from Windows Update that help protect your PC.

It won’t be simple if you don’t upgrade and find yourself without security or support. No more security updates to keep your data safe.  No more customer support. No more Internet Backgammon or Internet Checkers.

What should you do?

Again, it’s simple.  Move to Windows 10. Or you can upgrade your Windows 7 device. Get the answers about getting Windows 10 running on your PC at ZDNet.

How do you do it?
